The ArteLope project maintains a rich database and a digital library centring on one of the pillars of Golden Age Spanish literature: the dramatic works of Lope de Vega. ArteLope has contributed to this project over 250 plays written by Lope de Vega and his contemporaries, as well as substantial bibliographical information, which are available (open-access) on their digital library website and database.

THE ASSOCIATION FOR HISPANIC CLASSICAL THEATER WORDPRESS.COMEDIAS.ORG
In addition to a substantial collection of digital texts of plays from the Spanish Golden Age, the Association for Hispanic Classical Theater Inc. (AHCT) maintains a rare collection of Spanish Renaissance and Baroque plays on film and videotape available to its members.

Biblioteca Italiana is a digital library containing over 3500 texts (both dramatic and non-dramatic) that are representative of the Italian cultural and literary traditions from the Middle Ages up until the 1900s.

CALDERÓN DIGITAL CALDERONDIGITAL.TESPASIGLODEORO.IT
Calderón Digital is an ongoing database project that seeks to document the ample corpus of secular drama written by the Spanish playwright Pedro Calderón de la Barca. Most of the metadata of Calderón’s plays that appear in this database comes from Calderón Digital.

CATCOM: LAS COMEDIAS Y SUS REPRESENTANTES CATCOM.UV.ES
The objective of the CATCOM database is to create a comprehensive calendar of all theatrical performances in Spain from the mid-sixteenth century until the end of the seventeenth century.

THE COMPENDIUM OF RENAISSANCE DRAMA CORD.UNG.EDU
The Compendium of Renaissance Drama is a comprehensive index of the dramatis personae of pre-1642 English Renaissance drama. The project’s website includes detailed descriptions for over 30.000 characters of the plays written by Shakespeare and his contemporaries.

The Digitale Bibliotheek voor de Nederlandse Letteren (DBNL) is a digital collection of texts from Dutch literature, linguistics and cultural history, from the earliest times to the present. The collection represents the entire Dutch language area.

DRACOR: DRAMA CORPORA PROJECT DRACOR.ORG
DraCor is short for “drama corpora”, a growing collection of plays in (mostly) European languages, all encoded in TEI.

EMED: A DIGITAL ANTHOLOGY OF EARLY MODERN ENGLISH DRAMA EMED.FOLGER.EDU
A Digital Anthology of Early Modern English Drama opens a window on the vibrant theatrical community in which Shakespeare built his career. Unlike other Folger resources about Shakespeare and his plays, EMED features the plays by other playwrights, illuminating an extraordinary era of artistic ferment. A total of 403 of these plays by other writers still exist in early printed editions. EMED provides a wealth of data on each of them, which you can browse or search online or download in a variety of formats.

EMOTHE: THE CLASSICS OF EARLY MODERN EUROPEAN THEATRE EMOTHE.UV.ES
The EMOTHE research project undertakes the study, editing and dissemination of the classical early modern European theatre, its texts and stage practices, understood as part of Europe’s cultural heritage, while incorporating the new technologies of information and communication into the humanistic knowledge.

ETSO: ESTILOMETRÍA APLICADA AL TEATRO DEL SIGLO DE ORO ETSO.ES
The main goal of the ETSO research project is to apply the new technologies such as Stylometry and Machine Learning to help bring some clarity to the complicated world of authorship attribution in the dramatic texts of Golden Age Spain. Through the project’s sub-portal “TEXORO: Textos del Siglo de Oro”, they have provided digital transcriptions of several Spanish sixteenth- and seventeenth-century plays.

THE RESTORATION COMEDY PROJECT INSTITUCIONAL.US.ES/RESTORATION
Between 1660 and 1700, over 500 plays were written in England, more than half of them comedies. But not all of them are available in modern printed editions, and only a selected few are currently being edited. The rest are neglected and rarely read. Since 1995 a team of university scholars have been working in a project which aims at providing the means for a better knowledge of the plays —particularly the comedies— of the Restoration period.
